Network Management
Network Management is completely related to but different to Service Management (ITIL). Network Management is really about functional management and a simple way to remember it is as the FCAPS model which addresses functional areas covering management of network resources (or elements) by addressing the functional requirements of Fault, Configuration, Accounting, Performance and Security Management.
Below you will find some links to various things covering the FCAPS model and related reference material and network management products and tools.
