Cairns!

Hello Everyone

This will be our last "broadcast" message with us slowly getting the chance to catch up with you all individually, in-person, by phone or emails.

We've been home for long enough now to really appreciate how good that is. We love Cairns still even though we see it with more seasoned eyes. All in all, anywhere in Oz is better than anywhere else. Yes - we are prejudiced.

We had a lovely quiet time coming home via New York, Dallas, LA and Silicon Valley and catching up with family and friends along the way. The highlight may well have been getting trapped in Yosemite valley by mudslides the day before we were due to fly back to Oz! Keith and Pauline got us out over the mountain pass when it opened for a few hours with their trusty Volvo and snowchains!

We have arrived home after 7 months having only lost one address book and having only one loaf of bread being stolen (baboons!)

as we can scan them. Michelle took about 20 rolls (prints) and I took 56 rolls (slides). All 36's so as you can imagine there's quite a bit of sorting to be done.
