In the Riveria.

7 September 2001

Hi All

Just a reminder that this email and all back issues and some photos can be found at

http://www.sinclair.org.au/andrew/world/

whenever you want to see what we are up to.

We have received a few messages about chqnges of plan due to the US tradgedy. As it stands we plan to go on as planned. We are waiting to see if external forces eg; airlines going broke forces some rescheduling. More when it comes to hand.

We are in Cannes today killing some time with the rich - its a giant Port Douglas - as its raining. Mainly great weather so far. The only threat to our budget has been Italian Gelati but we are back in France (our favourite despite the non- QWERTY keyboards) with great food and drinks.

Italy was crowded and hot but the scenes of Tuscany and Rome are still with us. We have processed some photos and cant wait to show them off to you all.

Events in the US left us a little shell shocked for a week or so but the amazing US presence in Italy kept us in touch with events with US daily newspapers and the Net.

We are both a little tired after 5.5 months of camping and looking forward to crashing on the floor of the friends and relos in the US and just enjoying their company (and free hot showers and toilets that dont need coins).

We like it here - a fulltime English radio station helps - and we will take it easy here camping in the hills behind Nice for a while before heading to Spain.

Lots of Love to you all and no need to worry about us. Just think of us having fun here in the Sun .... tomorrow perhaps.
